Pixo — Frequently Asked Questions

Pixo collects photos and short videos from your event guests through one QR code. Below are the questions hosts ask most often, answered in full.

What is Pixo?

Pixo is a shared photo and video gallery for one event. Guests scan a QR code, type a name, and upload from their phone. Their photos appear live, so everyone at the party sees them. After the event you download every file at full size.

How do guests upload photos to a Pixo event?

Guests point their phone camera at the event's QR code. The Pixo gallery opens in their browser. They type a name, then pick photos or short videos from their camera roll. There is no app to install and no password to remember.

Do my guests need to download an app?

No. Pixo runs in the browser already on every guest's phone. Scanning the QR code is the whole setup. An app download is where most guests give up, so Pixo has none.

How much does Pixo cost?

Pixo is priced per event, and you pay once. The Starter package is $20 and the Pro package is $99, in US dollars. Both packages include the QR code, the live feed, the full-quality album and the host dashboard. There is no free package.

What if I don't love Pixo?

You get your money back. Email cueappsinc@gmail.com and Pixo refunds the full price. There are no questions asked and no deadline. That is the whole policy.

What is the difference between the Starter and Pro packages?

A Starter event shows guests the newest 50 uploads, photos and videos together. It tells them how many more are waiting behind. A Pro event keeps every upload visible, with no display limit. You can upgrade an event to Pro from your dashboard at any time.

Is Pixo a subscription?

No. You pay once for an event and that is the whole cost. There is no monthly fee and no renewal. Your guests pay nothing to upload.

Can guests upload videos as well as photos?

Yes. Guests can upload short videos from their phone alongside their photos. Those videos play back in the live feed and in the album. Pixo collects and downloads videos the same way it does photos.

How long are my photos stored?

Pixo keeps an event's photos and videos for 6 months on the Starter package. A Pro event keeps them for one year. The clock starts the first time the event is started, never when it was bought. Download your album from your dashboard before the window ends. After that, the event's media is deleted.

Can I remove a photo a guest uploaded?

Yes. Your Pixo dashboard lists every upload from your event. Hide one and guests stop seeing it in the live feed and the album. Delete one and it is gone for good. Hiding is reversible; deleting is not.

How do I download all the photos from my event?

Open the event in your Pixo dashboard and press Download All. Pixo packages every visible photo and video into one ZIP file. Every file arrives at full quality. You are not saving images one at a time out of a feed.

How do I share my QR code with guests?

Your Pixo dashboard has a share panel with the event's QR code and its join link. Download the code and put it where guests will see it. Table cards, invitations and a welcome sign all work. Copy the link instead for anyone who is not in the room.

Do I need Wi-Fi at my venue?

No. Guests need a working phone signal, and cell data is enough to scan and upload. Venue Wi-Fi makes uploads faster where it exists. Pixo does not require it.

When should I buy my Pixo gallery?

Whenever it suits you. Buy months ahead or the week before your event. The gallery sits idle until it starts, collecting nothing. Turn it on yourself from your dashboard, or let it start automatically on your event date.

Can I share the gallery with people who could not attend?

Yes. The event's album is viewable by anyone you send the link to. Family and friends who missed the day can see the photos. They do not have to upload anything themselves.
